Sour Cream and Vanilla Bread

Almost like a pound cake, this bread machine sensation is light, golden and irresistible!

1-1/2 POUND AND 2 POUND LOAF PAN

3 cups bread flour
3 Tbs. sugar
1-1/4 tsp. salt
1 Tb. butter
1 Tb. vanilla
1/3 cup sour cream
1 egg
2 tsp. dry yeast

BASIC BAKE MODE SANDWICH MODE


NOT RECOMMENDED FOR TIME BAKE.

Bread flour has more protein than all-purpose flour, so it gives a sturdy structure to baked goods. Cake and pastry flours--which have less protein than all-purpose flour--don't work as well in bread making.
