Taco's

We serve these tacos every Super Sunday. Wally, my husband, loves tacos and we make them often for the family.  I can remember the first time I ate them and enjoyed the new Mexican flavor.

1 large sweet onion, chopped
1 large green pepper, chopped
1 large red pepper, chopped
8 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, graded
5 tomatoes, diced
1 small head of lettuce, shredded
Chili Con Carne Recipe
20 taco shells
2 bottles taco sauce
1 pint sour cream

I use my Chili Con Carne Recipe for the meat sauce. Recipe is in this cookbook

Heat taco shells in 200 degree oven for 5 minutes.

Serve onion, peppers, cheese, tomatoes and lettuce in separate bowls.

Serve vegetables with Chili and warmed shells, taco sauce and sour cream.

NOTE: You can use soft taco shells and I love to make a taco salad. Our favorite Mexican flavors are the Ortega brand products.
